This piece — Qun Long Na Fu (群龙纳福, "A Gathering of Dragons Bringing Fortune") — captures the dynamic energy and auspicious spirit of lobsters rendered in traditional Chinese ink. In Chinese culture, the lobster (龙虾, lóng xiā) carries the character for "dragon" (龙), making it a powerful symbol of strength, vitality, and good fortune. Bold brushstrokes and flowing ink bring these magnificent creatures to life on pure xuān paper (宣纸), embodying the essence of Chinese literati painting.
